I have been recently overwhelmed with requests to add recipes and recommend a good all round juicer along with all the other things I have promised. My original idea for the site was to concentrate on healthy greens, but, to be honest there are so many of shoots ( pardon the pun) from healthy greens for instance exercise items, products like the juicer that I will start to add other healthy articles.

And It just so happens that a friend of mine bought a new juicer at the weekend so I thought I would give you the load down on it, it was the Breville BJE200XL Juice Fountain Compact Extractor - Silver coloured

It was Fairly easy to set up, excellent price for what it is, comes with recipes, simple to understand manual, compact, does a great all round job ... Nevertheless, the down side was that Juice splatters,but I think that had something to do with the user and not the juicer! I had a look at the Guidelines and they were easy to read, and that's a major plus element for myself as I don't like reading instruction manuals, and usually dive in blind, but this looked easy so I read it! Putting it together took maybe 8 minutes including reading the instructions. Cleaning it took me about 4 minutes. Like a lot of mid price juicers the filter was quite difficult to clean with the brush provided. So how did it handle I put one of my favourite drinks to the test which consisted of apple, carrots, ginger, collard and strawberries the The motor felt strong and cut it up easily. So in a nutshell a good basic juicer, but like most things you only get what you pay for. Well that all for today I will have to give some thought of putting up some adds for some juicers and other healthy ideas....talk soon
